We. Needed more than ever. The motto of the tenth edition of Connect 2022: SAP Partner Summit in Hamburg emphasized the important role that SAP partners play today and will continue to play in the future. After two years of meeting virtually, DMI and hundreds of other SAP partners from the DACH region and the rest of Europe were able to once again meet in person, share ideas, and look at how they can tackle modern-day business challenges for SAP customers.

Working Together for the Future

Every year, the SAP Partner Summit is an exciting event and a chance to catch up with fellow SAP experts and peers. This year’s event on October 20 and 21 focused strongly on how SAP partners are key to successfully managing the conversion to SAP S/4HANA, and it was also the perfect occasion to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. Over the two days, there were plenty of opportunities to get inspiration and interact at the various master classes or by networking with others from the SAP community. Everyone agreed that the overall message of the event was clear; SAP partners in all domains – from solution hosting and implementation, to data migration or maintenance support – will play an increasingly vital role going forward. By working together, SAP and the many SAP partners will accelerate the conversion process, focus on the future, and continue to drive forward the digital transformation.

Too Good to Be True?

Taking care of the DMI stand, Eva Heinze, Ralf Mattes, and Gerd Klask welcomed existing and potential new partners to take a look at the JiVS Information Management Platform. The team presented real-life customer cases, such as Hawle, and gave demos of the system to show just what JiVS can achieve and how it solves data migration challenges for specific use cases like migrations and acquisitions or application retirement. Companies who were new to DMI and the JiVS One Click Transformation approach were astounded by how quickly the platform delivers results, with some even saying “It sounds too good to be true!”. But 26 years of data migration experience speak for themselves, and after learning more about how the platform can speed up the conversion to SAP S/4HANA, visitors left the stand with a clear understanding of the power and potential of JiVS.

Expanding the DMI Partner Network

On the back of the Summit, DMI hopes to forge some great new partnerships with additional SAP partners and deliver incredible added value for customer projects. For many years, partnering has been a successful approach for DMI, combining rich expertise and knowledge to resolve diverse data migration issues for SAP customers. We currently have over 80 active partners, ranging from software and technology partners to implementation, analyst, and go-to-market partners. After creating further synergies at Connect 2022, our partner network is set to grow even further, so together we can simplify our customers’ journeys to become digital and intelligent enterprises.
