CSR at DMI
How we make a difference
At Data Migration International, we are committed to people, the environment, and society, as well ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. We want to play our part in making the world a better place. And we do this by pursuing a corporate social responsibility strategy, operating a code of conduct, and supporting various initiatives and projects.
EMPLOYEES
We consider ourselves to be a responsible employer and we value having a diverse, international workforce. Our people benefit from equal opportunities, irrespective of gender, religion, origin, or other diversity aspects. We treat and remunerate our employees fairly, provide them with good working conditions, and uphold human rights, including anti-harassment and freedom of association. The health and safety of our employees is a top priority for us too. Employee well-being is also extremely important to us, which is why we offer flexible working models to help them achieve work life balance. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, this has become even more critical, with an increased number of people working from home.
ENVIRONMENT
We are committed to the sustainable use of resources and efficient use of energy, and endeavor to use as little electricity and water as possible in our operations. Through our home office working model, we have been able to reduce energy and water consumption at our offices. Within our organization, we have implemented environmental measures to help reduce our carbon footprint such as the active promotion of the “paperless office” and the installation of recycling bins. Together with our employees, we have also taken part in initiatives to help protect the environment.
Saving the sea turtles in Corpus Christi, USA
Saving the sea turtles in Corpus Christi, USA In December 2020, staff at the DMI office in Texas rolled up their sleeves to help save hundreds of sea turtles that were stranded in the shallow bays of the Laguna Madre area on the South Texas coastline. The sea turtles were transported to the nearby Texas State Aquarium and Texas Sealife Center in Corpus Christi, where they individually registered and given expert medical care. This was one of the most significant animal rescue operations in the area over the last 30 years, and the DMI staff were delighted to have been able to help protect this endangered species.
Beach cleaning, USA
Staff at DMI’s office in Texas teamed up with hundreds of volunteers to collect 30 tons of trash along a 25-mile stretch of coastline on Padre Island. Find out more here about the Big Shell Beach Cleanup and watch the video of the volunteers in action.

We also provide financial support and sponsorship to a number of charitable organizations as well as sporting associations and individual sportspeople.
