Following the hugely successful Digital Lounge@Lakeside in Switzerland in the summer, DMI focused its attention on expanding its partner network at the UK Partner edition Digital Lounge@Brooklands. The DMI team was delighted to meet with representatives from SAP and potential partners at the exclusive event, which was a first for our UK-based business. Here’s a quick snapshot of the day in our latest blog.
Gearing up for Transformation
DMI has a growing presence in the UK, and with companies ramping up their digital transformation or upgrading to SAP S/4 HANA, it was the perfect opportunity to bring together forward-looking, tech experts and potential new partners at our very first UK Partner edition of the Digital Lounge on November 4, 2022. The event was held at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge and led by Philip Carvalho, Regional Director, DMI UK, who was joined by colleagues from DMI Switzerland Tobias Eberle, CRO, and Eva Heinze, Partner and Business Development Manager. Dedicated to the pioneers of speed, flight and adventure, the museum was chosen as the ideal venue. After all, DMI is synonymous with speed and accelerating the data migration process through its information management platform JiVS IMP.
Expanding the Partner Network
Throughout the course of the day, representatives from potential future partners West Monroe, Xmateria, xSAP Business Solutions, csi10, BSI, PwC, and ERP Today heard how JiVS has revolutionized data migration for many business scenarios including mergers and acquisitions, rightsizing, application retirement, and the conversion to SAP S/4 HANA. Tobias talked the participants through the One Click Transformation approach, which takes companies and their data quickly and easily from A to B, while helping them drastically cut their operational costs and maximize ROI. Further underpinning the data migration power of JiVS and how it supports the S/4 conversion process, the audience also heard from SAP representatives Uwe Grigoleit, SVP & Global Head of Customer Evolution Program, and Praveen Suryadevara, Strategy & Transformation. Finally, to the great interest of everyone at the Digital Lounge, Eva presented the various partner management models that DMI is currently running with over 80 active partners globally – including implementation partners, expert partners, go-to-market partners, referral and reseller partners. Over the years, the partner program has supported companies from diverse industries with ERP implementations and upgrades, combining the data migration expertise of DMI with the skills of its valued partners.
All About Speed
Having learned about how JiVS accelerates and simplifies all kinds of data migration challenges, the participants stayed on the topic of speed and were treated to a tour of the motor museum and to the Concorde Experience, with a look inside the cabin and cockpit of the supersonic airliner that is exhibited at the museum.
Next UK Events
The next UK-based edition of the Digital Lounge will take place in 2023. Coming up soon on the event calendar for DMI UK, however, is UKISUG Connect on November 27-29 – the largest annual gathering of SAP professionals across the UK and Ireland.
