Rounding off this year’s busy calendar of SAP events, DMI travelled to Vienna for the last major event of the year on November 15-17. Like every year, SAPinsider EMEA 2022 brought together a global community of SAP users, experts, and partners. As an exhibitor and sponsor, it was the perfect chance for DMI to meet up with experts, existing partners, and customers, and also showcase its unique offering to a new audience.
Interest Sparked as Reality Bites
As soon as the doors of the SAPinsider event opened in the “city of music”, the DMI team were delighted to see so many new and familiar faces from the SAP community across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Already a common theme at the numerous events DMI attended throughout the year, data migration was once again a hot topic. As reality bites with the S/4HANA conversion getting ever-closer, more and more companies are looking for ways to move to the new system more cost-effectively, quickly, and efficiently. Representing DMI, Tobias Eberle, Ralf Mattes, Eva Heinze, and Benjamin Kaulich sparked a great deal of interest in our data migration platform JiVS, giving live system demos on the stand. Visitors gained insights into how the platform works and learned about the JiVS Data Store for historical data, the JiVS One Click Dashboards for visualizing databases and monitoring data quality improvement, and the JiVS One Click Transformation approach.
Showcasing a 3 – Month Migration to SAP S/4HANA
DMI also secured itself a spot on the speaker agenda, and Tobias Eberle explained how JiVS speeds up the conversion to SAP S/4HANA through intelligent data migration and automation capabilities. He shared details of DMI’s collaboration with Hawle Armaturen AG – a Swiss company that needed to migrate to S/4HANA in just three months. Tobias showed the audience exactly how DMI made this possible by separating, cleansing, enriching, and harmonizing the masses of data. Transferring from another ERP system to S/4HANA was a huge challenge for Hawle, but they were won over by the extensive automation of JiVS and the One Click Transformation for migrating data quickly at the click of a button.
100+Interactive Learning Sessions
This particular event was expected to attract over 1,000 attendees from the EMEA region, and an extensive program was organized. Besides plenty of networking opportunities, the three days included 100+ interactive learning sessions including case study presentations, hands-on labs, workshops, roundtables, solution previews, and more – centered around seven distinct SAP topics: S/4HANA, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, Supply Chain Management, and Cloud Operations.
It’s a wrap for SAP events in 2022, but DMI will be heading to Nevada in the United States in spring for SAPinsider Vegas 2023.
